DESCRIPTION
Najma, meaning star, reflects precision in a smaller form. This compact hexagonal box carries the same traditional Syrian mosaic technique found in larger heirloom pieces, carefully assembled by hand using individually cut wood segments and fine mother of pearl inlays.
The geometric star on the lid is structured yet luminous, balanced within the six-sided silhouette. Warm wood tones contrast subtly with darker framing lines, creating depth without heaviness.
Inside, a deep red velvet lining provides a soft resting place for rings, earrings, prayer beads, or small keepsakes. Its smaller scale makes it well suited for a bedside table, desk, or shelf, present but never overwhelming.
Each piece carries slight variation in wood grain and inlay placement, reflecting the authenticity of hand craftsmanship rather than machine uniformity.
