Rukan, meaning pillar or foundation, reflects strength and grounding. The square form gives this box a stable, architectural presence, while the central eight-point star introduces movement and harmony.
Handcrafted from natural hardwood and detailed with mother of pearl inlay, each geometric segment is carefully cut and placed by hand. The warm wood tones contrast gently with the soft shimmer of pearl, creating a balanced and timeless design.
Inside, a deep red velvet lining protects small treasures ,rings, earrings, prayer beads, or meaningful keepsakes. Compact and refined, Rukan is both decorative and functional.
As with all authentic Syrian mosaic pieces, slight variations in grain and inlay confirm its handmade origin.
